Secularism in Turkey

As a Turk, I am concerned about the threat of destroying secularism in Turkey. The current prime minister and president are leaning towards an Islamic regime and ending democracy. With the elections coming up, I hope that the tide turns against the AKP(current majority party and the party of the president and prime minister) and they no longer weild power. I don't want people thinking that I am against Islam. I support my religion fully and practice it as much as I can, but I believe that when religion gets involved in government, the outcome is not good.
