Encarta no more

Microsoft announced yesterday that they will stop further development of Encarta. I loved this program, I probably had various versions since the first one we had, Encarta 97.

I guess sites like Wikipedia put the final nail on Encarta’s coffin.  Encarta Japan will continue to be active until December 31st, 2009 while all other versions will be discontinued on October 31st, 2009
