Last month K-Rock, the radio station I sometimes listen, just went dark, instead, in its place was Now FM, with cheap programming and mostly music with no advertisement, probably because they don’t have anyone confident enough to pay to advertise on this brand new radio station. Their current programming is made up pretty cheap phone calls, and most of them sound like it is same 5-6 girls and two guys changing their voices and calling in leaving messages. There aren’t many live call-ins at all..
Today I found out K Rock is still on the air, but only in HD-RADIO. It is free, but we would need to buy HD Radio receiver…
